On the 23rd of November the children identified that we needed to purchase more breakfast cereal so the following morning we set off to the local IGA to purchase what we needed. While we were there the children identified they wanted to purchase different kinds of cereals. We began discussing the health star ratings that are on the front of the packaging and their meanings. We choose to purchase the cereals that displayed the higher health star ratings. Over the rest of the term the children explored these health star ratings with the help of some of our parents to ensure that were are providing the most healthy option for Breakfast.
